HOPE IN GOD

In psalm 42 the psalmist was troubled and brokenhearted. He cried out to God.

When you are in a storm and you just feel forgotten and broken.  Remind your soul who God is and what he has done for you. Wait expectantly for the Lord.

Why are you in despair? Oh my soul. And why have you become restless and disturbed within me?[Hope in God and wait [expectantly] for Him, for I shall again praise Him for the help of His presence. [Psalm 42:5 AMP ]

Expectantly means]- with an excited feeling that something is about to happen, [especially something good.]

Like the psalmist in [ Psalm 42] remind yourself to hope in God and remember who God is and what He has done for you.

Expect God to do something good!

This is your reminder to Hope in God. Remind your soul who God is and put your hope in Him.

He is the God of comfort. (  2 Corinthians 1:3)

He is the God of Hope. ( Romans 15:13)

He is the God of peace. ( Romans 15:33

He is the Lord of salvation. ( Matthew 1:21)

He understands your pain and weakness. (Hebrews 4:15)

His love endures forever. (Psalms 136:1)

The word of God never fails. ( Luke 1:37 & Isaiah 55:11)

Remember the blood of the lamb overcomes the sting of death and grave, Because of Jesus, sin lost its grip on you.( Roman’s 4:25 and 1 John 5:4)

And this is who you are.

You are a child of God. ( John 1:12-13)

You are chosen. ( 1 Peter 2:9)

Never forsaken. ( Deuteronomy 31:8)

You are loved. (John 4:9-10)

You are wonderfully made. ( Psalm 139:14)

You are a saint. ( 1 Corinthians 1:2)

You are made right with God because of the blood of Jesus. (2 Corinthians 5:20-21 & Romans 5:9)

God is for you

God is with you

Expect God to move. Don’t lose hope. Fix your eyes on Jesus, He will sustain you and uphold you.
