Choose to be a blessing.

When you are tired and you feel hopeless, drained from all your struggles, when you are in a circumstance that appears not be in your favor. When you are all broken down, choose to be a blessing, choose to believe that God is in control and that he is handling your situation. Trust the fact that God is bigger than the circumstance that you are in, He is bigger than the storm you are in.

Choose to bless others when you are in the storm, to be kind and encouraging, to see from heavens perspective. Which is not an easy task, in fact that is quite a difficult task. Especially when you try to do it on your own and not with your Heavenly Father. Trying to be a blessing on your own accord is very difficult, because we all fall short of the glory of God ( Romans 3:23) we cannot do that on our own. That is why we have the Holy Spirit and a loving Heavenly Father, who will teach us how to be a blessing, and to handle circumstances that are hard.

Joseph is a great example of someone who chose to be a blessing all through his lifetime, he went through a lot of difficult things. His brothers sold him to Egypt for silver, but they were actually debating whether or not to kill him. And then they went a told their father that Joseph was killed by a wild beast. Needless to say, Joseph went through some pretty difficult situations, and in spite of all the things his brothers did to him, he chose to forgive them.

Not only did Joseph forgive his brothers, but He also blessed them and provided for their families. And this is what he told his brothers, “You intended to harm me, but God intended for good to be accomplished what is now being done, the savings of many lives’’. Then he proceeds to say, “So then, don’t be afraid. I will provide for you and your children.” And he reassured them and spoke kindly to them. (Genesis 50:20-21) This just shows how God can take any circumstance and turn it into good.

Remember that there is nothing too difficult to get through with Gods help, for all things are possible through him. And you are not held by your own strength, but by the strength of your Heavenly Father. There is no task too great that you can’t conquer with Christ Jesus.
